We are very proud to welcome Simone Arnol (Gunggandji) & Bernard Singleton Jnr (Umpila/Djabugay/Yirrgay) as newly represented artists.

The pair have worked collaboratively to produce a photographic series for their first exhibition at Jan Manton Gallery titled Medicine Clay. This series includes intimate portraits of three generations of family—father, son and niece—all adorned in Medicine Clay. This fine white clay is revered and sourced by family members for its healing properties, which aid in the treatment of sore belly, women’s business and general wellbeing.

We are looking forward to working with Simone and Bernard in the lead up to their forthcoming show Medicine Clay, exhibiting from 9 February - 6 March, 2022.
